How Astro Explorer Started
I’ve been interested in astronomy for about two years, and about a year ago, I started getting into astrophotography. I created Astro Explorer on December 14, 2024, right before Christmas. That Christmas, I bought myself a Seestar S50, and since then, I’ve used it to explore and capture the night sky whenever I can.
I live in a small town in Utah, just outside the Salt Lake City area, where the relatively dark skies give me incredible views of the Milky Way, countless stars, planets, and other objects across the night sky. What started as a simple interest in astronomy has grown into Astro Explorer a place where I can share what I see and invite others to explore the universe with me.
